Object: 3D Visual Language images

Volume/Mass
I think of volume and mass when I look at this as the glass is holding a volume of water and it can hold any different volume of water until it reaches its capacity.

Space
I think of space when I look at this as it is nothing but it is still contained. There is a lot of space for activities.

Scale
This represents scale quite well I think, tiny kitten to large cat.

Weight
This is the first thing that came to mind when I thought about weight. It looks so heavy and I know that anvils are heavy.

Time/Movement
This is a good example of time as it is representing the different seasons of the year. It is also a good representation of movement as it shows the movement of weather throughout the year.

Site
This is a good example of site as the Statue of Liberty is a famous tourist attraction/landmark and it is common knowledge that it is in New York. It is not obscured by anything where it is so it is almost like a continuos exhibition.

Proportion/Composition/Display and lighting
This is an example of proportion and composition as the food is in stark contrast to the bleak whiteness of what is in the background so it stands out and we can see exactly where it is placed in the image.

Balance
I think this is a perfect example of balance. Not only because the elephant is balancing but also because the image is balanced out by the grey of the elephant and the grey of the sand. The composition of the elephant and the ball is balanced in the centre of the image.

Texture/Surface
This is a textured surface. The grainy texture of the surface is a texture on its own but then there is also the texture of the cracks.

Repetition
A common object that shows repetition perfectly. The repetition of a shape, even though the scale of each duck changes, the duck is still mimicked by the previous or next duck.
