The cloning tool was used in this image and most likely the burn tool to create artificial shadows. I suspect the blur tool was also used to create a seamless image. I like this image as it is very similar to images I have created in photoshop and I enjoy using the cloning tool to create imaginary features in an image. It looks very realistic but obviously it isn't and that is why it is so interesting because of the quality of the photoshopping.
This is an image that has been overlaid on top of another image. The eraser tool, blur tool and a serious of filters and the burn and dodge tools were used to re-create shadows and highlights where they were lost in the overlaying process. I like this image as it looks as if it is a real person because the artist has cleared up all loose edges and combined the two faces impeccably.

This is another image that has used the technique of overlaying, however it is more opaque. The face of the statue has been replaced with an image of a deep hole by using the lasso tool and quite possibly the quick selection tool. The eraser and blur tools will have been used to clear up untidy edges. I like this image because it also reminds me of images I have created on photoshop and it is a very creative way to combine two completely different things and create one image that has a completely different meaning to the individual images.
