Idea for self portrait project: Spookers.

Concept - Idea

Use a transition of photos/process of putting makeup on. No makeup -> makeup

How do I want to present my photos? Front view, side view etc. Film stills?

What features do I want in my photos? Blurriness? Crisp outlines? Colour? Fine detail? Scribbles? <- research artists that have these features in their photos.

Artists that use different techniques that I could experiment with;

Cindy Sherman - Film stills

Arnulf Rainer - use of scribbles on top of photos (could tie in with makeup)

-other ways of presenting my photos/makeup - Robert Mapplethorpe, Martin Schoeller (high definition portraits), Man Ray (use of objects, e.g jewels).
